Tippler Lite Player

Step-by-step guide for setting up and using the Tippler Lite Player on Android TV devices and TV boxes.

Overview

Tippler Lite Player plays curated signage/playlists on Android TV devices. This guide explains how setup player.

First launch

If pairing succeeds, you will see the player home screen with status and controls.

Quick access to admin portal: At any time, long-press the OK/Select button on your TV remote to open a dialog showing the local admin portal URL and QR code for easy access from another device on the same network.

Note: The local server must be available/enabled on the device for the URL to appear.

Tippler Lite Dashboard Login

Note: Make sure to enter the URL (IP) and port (8080) which are present in the player dialog screen.

Example: http://192.168.1.162:8080/
